The New House

The following photos show Ray and his youngest children and the new home, taken about 1907 or so. On right is Ray leaning over Franklin. On left is Ray posing with Rebecca, Amos and Franklin. Below is Ray looking West from the porch on the north side of the house. About 5 years after the house was built Rebecca recalls standing on this porch during a thunderstorm and witnessing what seemed to be a ball of light or electricity roll from the east to west across the lawn on the north side of the house.
