Ray and May Trussell

These photos show the couple near the time of their marriage at the home of May's Mother, Mary Rhodes, in Jefferson City, MO. The date was Tuesday, January 31, 1889. Ray wrote in his diary, "... felt mighty solemn indeed." Apparently the couple both felt pretty solemn about their wedding vows ... they remained married until Ray died sixty-one years later.
